The SSI Navigation Specialty program teaches advanced skills to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You’ll learn to use a compass, natural navigation techniques, estimate distances, and navigate to and from a designated point. The program also covers basic navigation patterns and combining techniques to enhance your diving experience. By improving your observation skills and dive safety, you’ll maximize every dive. Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification and be equipped for better, more efficient underwater navigation.
