Dave began scuba diving while serving in the United States Navy in Norfolk, Virginia, and he achieved his Open Water Certification in 2005. After moving to Oklahoma and only diving occasionally, he decided to further his scuba diver training. He completed his Advanced Open Water certification at the Blue Hole, New Mexico dive site in early 2019. After being encouraged by Sharky's Scuba staff to continue his diving education, he received his Rescue Diver and Divemaster certifications in 2020. Dave is continually striving to advance his scuba diving skills and pursues new underwater adventures whenever possible.

Dave loves diving with everyone at Sharky's Scuba and is always willing to help or assist when needed. He can be found most weekends in the summer at Lake Tenkiller enjoying the scuba park and relaxing with his Sharky’s family. His favorite place to dive so far has been in Cozumel, Mexico. He hopes to one day be able to go diving in Palau.
